Paul Nassif -- I'm Cool with Adrienne Dating Sean Stewart 26 minutes ago BY TMZ STAFF Rick Ross Crashes Rolls-Royce While Escaping Gunfire Breaking News Rick Ross' Rolls-Royce smashed into a building in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida early this morning ... while trying to escape from a gunman who opened fire on the car ... this according to multiple reports. Ross was not shot during the incident -- nor was a female who was also inside the car. According to local reports, "dozens" of shots were fired at the vehicle around 5AM -- none of which hit the Rolls. Several buildings in the area WERE struck by gunfire. Ross' Rolls reportedly crashed into a building while trying to speed away from the gunfire. So far, cops have not made any arrests in connection with the shooting -- and have not identified any suspects. Local10.com obtained a photo from the crash scene, showing Ross' smashed-up Rolls-Royce being towed away. Cops tell TMZ they are investigating. UPDATE 3:00 AM PT: Cops say they will continue to investigate and want to speak with Chris Brown. They refer to Ocean as "the victim" because he's the one who stuck around and spoke with police. Ocean said the fight started over a parking space (how L.A.) and Brown punched him. There were 6 people involved in the fight. UPDATE 10:45 PM PT: Police have cleared the scene. We're told Chris Brown was not there when officers arrived -- but they did speak to Frank Ocean. At this point ... we're told no one wants to press charges, and no arrests have been made. Chris Brown was involved in an all-out brawl with Frank Ocean Sunday night, and sources connected with Chris insist Ocean started it. Chris was at Westlake Studio in the L.A. area listening to one of the artists he represents. The sources say as Chris went to leave, Frank Ocean and his crew blocked Chris from leaving. The sources say Frank said, "This is my studio, this is my parking spot." We're told Chris went to shake Frank's hand ... and that's when one of Frank's people attacked Chris. TMZ has learned. Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... Diggs was at his home last night when a man broke into his home shortly after 11:00 PM. We're told Diggs -- who was at the SAG Awards earlier in the evening -- confronted the suspect, who then took off running. According to our sources, Diggs then actually chased after the guy and eventually caught up to him. We're told Diggs held the man (who we're told was around 20) until cops arrived. TMZ broke the story ... nine black ex-contestants are planning to sue "Idol" producers, claiming the contestants were publicly disqualified based on their dubious criminal backgrounds ... solely because they're African-American. But Season 6 finalist Melinda Doolittle adamantly disagrees, telling TMZ, "It is shocking to see such allegations. In my experience on the show, the 'Idol' team strives to champion everyone, regardless of race. However, each contestant is explicitly told that the withholding of information that may compromise the show or artist, can and will result in immediate disqualification." Season 4 finalist Vonzell Solomon adds, "I didn’t experience any of that [racial discrimination] ... all of our contracts were clear about how the background checks worked and that we could be disqualified if we lied about our past." Two other former contestants -- Season 5 winner Taylor Hicks and Season 10 finalist Casey Abrams -- also agree. Casey says, "I don't know why they are biting the hand that fed them. TMZ has learned. Cross was popped at 8:20 AM in Fayetteville, AR. According to the website for the Washington County Sheriff's Office, Cross was popped for driving too close to another vehicle, driving on the wrong side of the road, and lastly ... DWI. Cross posted $1,055 bond and was released at 9:39 AM. Oddly enough ... at 8:39 AM she tweeted, "Last night was hilarious." We called Cross for comment and got her voicemail. A few minutes after we called, she tweeted, "Well I guess it's safe to say last night was an epic fail." Hochstein recently filed a lawsuit against a woman named Jessica Lederman -- claiming she suffered "severe emotional distress" after Jessica blasted her in the comment section of an entertainment news website. According to docs, Jessica wrote "Lisa was an escort who also did soft porn in Vegas" ... in response to an article about Lisa joining the "Real Housewives" franchise.. But Hochstein says it's a bold-faced lie and that she's never been in the escort business or done soft core porn in Las Vegas. Hochstein claims Jessica's remark damaged her reputation and threatened both her employment and social life. Pretty random to go after someone who commented on a web site ... but to each their own. Hochstein is suing for more than $15,000. A judge has yet to rule. Simpson may be rotting behind bars, but it doesn't mean he can skate on his taxes ... so says the IRS, who just slapped him with yet ANOTHER tax lien. According to a federal lien filed in December, O.J. failed to cough up $17,015.99 in taxes for the year 2011. This makes for the THIRD lien filed against him in the last 12 months. As TMZ first reported, Uncle Sam filed a lien for $179,435.07 for the years 2007-2010 and the State of California says he still owes $318,566.04 for the year 2000. Tax debt total = $515,017.10. And don't forget ... he still owes MILLIONS to the families of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman for that whole double murder thing. Better keep pounding those license plates.
